Jack L. Saunders, Sr., 71, of Lambertville, MI, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at The Toledo Hospital. Born, January 10, 1943 in Maumee, OH, he was the son of Harold (Lucky) Miller and Norma (Armitage) Miller. He married Judy Holtgrieve on November 11, 1961. Jack was a machinist for Teledyne in Toledo for 36 years, retiring in June 1, 2003. Jack was an avid bowler and also enjoyed volleyball, traveling, playing cards (euchre), but most of all, being a family man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy. Sons, Jack Saunders and Jerry (Julie) Saunders. Grandchildren, Jillian Saunders, Lyndsey Jacobs and brother, Eugene Moore.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
